Does New West Physicians accept Medicare?
New West Physicians in Colorado accepts UnitedHealthcare Secure Horizons Medicare Advantage plans. They do NOT accept traditional Medicare or Medicare Supplement plans. You do have to have Medicare Parts A and B to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan, so you would enroll in Medicare parts A and B thru Social Security, then Enroll in the UnitedHealthcare Advantage plan that best fits your needs.

For 2019, Denver has 4 AARP MedicareComplete SecureHorizons Advantage plans to choose from:
Plan 1- $46 month $3400 max out of pocket o deductible
Plan 2- 0 premium $4400 max out of pocket 0 deductible
Essential Plan – Ideal for Tri Care for Life members
Dual SNP – For clients with Medicare AND Medicaid
All Unitedhealthcare Colorado Medicare plans include SilverSneakers membership, allowing you unrestricted access to over 13,000 locations nationwide including: 24 Hour Fitness, YMCA, Curves, local rec centers and many more.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15th thru Dec 7th, allowing existing Unitedhealthcare SecureHorizons members to switch from Plan 1 ($46/month) to 0 Premium Plan 2 or vice versa.
You can also enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan at any time of the year when you enroll in Medicare Part B for the first time ( at age 65 or when you retire after age 65)
